A team with a shared vision
BIOSHIFT was founded in Austria at the beginning of 2024 by Bernhard Staggl and his two co-founders, Martin Kühhas and Julian Mayr. The young team of engineers and entrepreneurs began to mould their vision of revolutionising the energy sector.
Their vision was clear — to reimagine biomass residues as energy assets, helping to power the shift towards a green energy transformation the planet needs. As life-long friends and university colleagues, together they incubated their idea in cooperation with the University of Technology in Graz.
